About Us

HerHealth Network, formally registered as HerHealth Advancement Initiative, is a Nigerian-based organisation with a continental and global focus.


Our work centres on addressing persistent gaps in women’s health across Africa while contributing to global conversations, research, and solutions that promote equitable healthcare for women and girls worldwide.


We collaborate with health professionals, researchers, community partners, and institutions to deliver impactful programmes that are locally grounded and globally informed.

Capacity Building & Career Development

We are committed to strengthening the pipeline of women in health and research by:

  • HerHealth Research Fellowship

    The HerHealth Research Fellowship is a core programme of HerHealth Network designed to support emerging researchers and professionals interested in women’s health in Africa and global health contexts.

    The fellowship is structured to strengthen research skills, deepen understanding of women’s health priorities, and foster collaboration among early-career professionals working in health and research.

    What the Fellowship Offers

    Applications for the first cohort of the HerHealth Research Fellowship are now closed.
